Albert Heijn Weissenbruchstraat
From very small to small
The Albert Heijn on Weissenbruchstraat in The Hague is one of the smallest AH shops. By involving an adjacent building in the shop, the very small shop has become a small shop. Despite this, Albert Heijn's formula has managed to help this small shop achieve its full potential.
Design and measurements
The challenges of such a small building are mainly to get the routing of the shop right, where especially the existing architectural elements are difficult to integrate.
During the structural work, the shop was open, which caused the necessary logistical challenges.
